About the Role

Leads, directs, and coordinates the work of subcontractors and/or trade labor. Responsible for ensuring project safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and adherence to budget. Supervises Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns, and trade labor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and make decisions related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade employee staffing levels.
• Oversee work among assigned trades to promote coordinated project operations and resolve local area problems.
• Manage the overall site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and applicable safety codes.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and/or Interns.
• Create schedules, determine work sequencing, and develop recovery strategies to maintain project schedule.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers regarding field issues and investigate/resolve them.
• Manage the billing process, including Work In Place (WIP), monthly estimates, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
• Manage work to ensure installation compliance with approved contract documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of eight (8) years' related experience or combination of training/experience.
• HCAI / OSHPD construction project experience highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules; experience with Primavera P6 is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EH&S applications.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, negotiate construction areas, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform essential functions in an environment with moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, varying weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock, with moderate to very loud noise levels.
