About the Role
The Market Sales Associate provides exceptional guest service across Eataly’s various QSR counters, serving gelato, pastries, coffee, paninis, and other Italian treats. This role also supports retail product sales and reports to the Market Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provides service across all QSR counters
- Completes food preparation assignments neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner
- Sets up stations and replenishes displays neatly, including separation of allergens
- Ensures all items are dated and follow First In First Out (FIFO) standards
- Prepares collateral, weighs, labels, packages, and serves products
- Complies with department policies and quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Operates a cash register and ensures accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills
- Ensures the sales floor is well maintained and stocked at all times
- Utilizes sales techniques to maximize store sales performance
- Builds and maintains relationships with guests
- Participates in processes and procedures related to the department
- Focuses on details with a firm, clear, and highly professional style
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Requirements
- Experience operating a cash register preferred
- Prior food service experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Smart Serve Certification

- CAD $18.00 hourly, plus tips
