About the Role
Delivers and picks up vehicles and equipment for the dealership.
Responsibilities
- Picks up and delivers vehicles and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups, requesting recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
- Ensures all deliveries are made in a timely manner.
- Notifies management immediately if all deliveries cannot be completed.
- Handles basic maintenance of the truck, including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and ensuring required inspections are performed.
- Checks fluid levels every morning.
- Advises parts manager if delivery trucks require major repairs and maintenance.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Reports accidents, traffic violations, registration, inspection, and insurance dates to management immediately.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
