About the Role

As the Project Manager for a new product launch, you will be responsible for planning and tracking progress through the entire lifecycle of a product, from concept to delivery. Through close partnerships with Product Development, Packaging, Procurement, Sourcing, Regulatory, and Creative partners, you will ensure new products are successfully launched on time.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a timeline for delivering new products across multiple channels and brands.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans with dependencies, owners, deadlines, and duration.
  • Drive issues to resolution through partnerships and creative problem-solving.
  • Perform risk assessments to ensure projects remain on-time and in budget.
  • Conduct project post-mortems for core launches.
  • Build internal and external partnerships to establish a plan for delivering new products.
  • Evaluate the end-to-end process and recommend improvements.
  • Keep key partners updated on project progress, risks, and issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive the team to completion of all deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG).
  • Proficient with Project Management Software (Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, etc.), including Gantt charts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, including cross-functional partners and third-party vendors.
  • Experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, Health & Beauty is preferred.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership, creative problem-solving, and driving results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often-changing environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically with good attention to detail.
