About the Role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving Crafty’s growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This role involves building a prospecting strategy, maintaining a CRM pipeline, and communicating effectively to generate qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and target potential clients in key industries.
- Use various tools and methods, including LinkedIn, CRM databases, and outbound outreach campaigns, to connect with prospects.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of leads in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Account Executives for seamless handoffs and follow-ups.
- Clearly and persuasively convey information across various channels.
- Actively listen to understand prospects' needs and tailor messaging.
- Build rapport to establish trust and advance opportunities.
- Meet outlined SQO and pipeline valuation metrics to support revenue growth goals.
- Engage in outbound prospecting efforts in a multi-channel outreach setting.
- Achieve an 85% conversion rate from booked meetings to qualified opportunities.
- Develop working proficiency with AI tools relevant to the revenue function.
- Identify and implement AI improvements to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience (preferably in a revenue function).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment.
- Open to constructive criticism and implementing feedback.
- Ability to stay motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and persist through challenges or rejection.
- Ability to adapt to setbacks while continuing to work toward goals with determination.

- $66,300 + up to $30,000 in variable compensation (OTE is ~$96,300)
