About the Role

This position works in the 2nd Ops division, performing further assembly, cut-to-length, and various finishing operations on products.

Responsibilities

• Perform end finish operations.
• Read DPR and determine quantity required.
• Apply standard packaging labels.
• Complete DPR paperwork.
• Collect products.
• Report processing difficulties to supervisor.
• Perform various cut-to-length operations.
• Operate weigh count scales.
• Conduct in-process product inspection.
• Test products.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation.
• Perform general maintenance activities.
• Measure extruded tubing dimensions.
• Visually inspect extruded tubing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Legible handwriting.
• 1+ years of on-the-job experience in a medical device manufacturer or component manufacturer.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for a minimum of 8 hours each workday.
• Essential hand dexterity for assembling small parts.
• Good eye-hand coordination required.
• Ability to use pin gauges, ruler, tape measure, and caliper.
• Ability to meet known targets.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Continual lifting up to 50 lb, gripping, turning, finger dexterity, and hand/eye coordination required throughout the shift.
• Ability to work 8+ hour shifts, mostly standing with occasional sitting.
• Good vision required to inspect product quality.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to wear protective eyewear.
