About the Role
This position works in the 2nd Ops division, performing further assembly, cut-to-length, and various finishing operations on products.
Responsibilities
- Perform end finish operations.
- Read DPR and determine quantity required.
- Apply standard packaging labels.
- Complete DPR paperwork.
- Collect products.
- Report processing difficulties to supervisor.
- Perform various cut-to-length operations.
- Operate weigh count scales.
- Conduct in-process product inspection.
- Test products.
- Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation.
- Perform general maintenance activities.
- Measure extruded tubing dimensions.
- Visually inspect extruded tubing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Legible handwriting.
- 1+ years of on-the-job experience in a medical device manufacturer or component manufacturer.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for a minimum of 8 hours each workday.
- Essential hand dexterity for assembling small parts.
- Good eye-hand coordination required.
- Ability to use pin gauges, ruler, tape measure, and caliper.
- Ability to meet known targets.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Continual lifting up to 50 lb, gripping, turning, finger dexterity, and hand/eye coordination required throughout the shift.
- Ability to work 8+ hour shifts, mostly standing with occasional sitting.
- Good vision required to inspect product quality.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to wear protective eyewear.
