About the Role

We are looking for a talented housekeeper responsible for the meticulous upkeep of property models, vacant units, and all common interior and exterior areas, ensuring the property is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. Proactively communicate opportunities for site improvements and/or repairs.

Responsibilities

• Clean available units and/or model homes and common areas (e.g., pool area, gym, property office) as directed.
• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down trim and molding, cleaning glass windows and doors, sweeping exterior patios, trash pickup and removal, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Follow safety standards when performing tasks.
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations when using chemicals or operating equipment.
• Clean and properly store equipment and supplies at the end of each shift.
• Follow proper infection control and universal precautions when performing tasks.
• Perform other duties as directed by the property manager.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.

Experience Level

• Three to six months of housekeeping experience preferred.

Education Level

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
