About the Role
The Global Commercial Learning Manager is responsible for the ongoing learning and development of Corning’s sales employees, focusing on the adoption, scaling, and application of the Richardson Accelerated Sales Performance System (ASPS) and shaping future sales capability development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial and sales leaders and HR business partners to understand capability gaps and align learning priorities.
- Ensure sales development efforts support business outcomes.
- Identify users, track progress, drive adoption, and collect feedback on the ASPS platform with HR business partners.
- Collaborate with managers to ensure they partner in employee development and monitor progress on the ASPS platform.
- Ensure employee learning is applied on the job.
- Communicate program updates, success stories, and impact metrics to senior stakeholders.
- Administer the ASPS platform, including onboarding new users, tracking progress, driving engagement, scheduling classes, and monitoring enrollment.
- Partner with Richardson on platform use and selling skills class delivery.
- Define and track program metrics measuring adoption, behavior change, application on the job, and business impact.
- Determine opportunities to expand development beyond the ASPS platform to build core sales competencies, accelerate revenue growth, and enhance customer engagement.
- Implement tools, programs, or frameworks to address development needs in alignment with HR business partners and commercial leaders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales training program management.
- Expertise in selling skills and selling methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable learning solutions.
- Experience administering Richardson’s ASPS platform or other technology-enabled development platforms.
- Experience delivering selling skills training.
- Certification to teach one or more Richardson classes.
