About the Role

KGO-TV/ABC7, the ABC-owned television station in San Francisco, is seeking an accredited meteorologist or experienced weather anchor to produce and present daily weather forecasts for newscasts, digital, and social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Produce and present daily weather forecasts for newscasts.
• Create weather forecasts for digital and social platforms.
• Create weather forecasts for the KGO-TV/ABC7 24/7 live stream.
• Use weather software systems to create and present forecasts.

Requirements

• Prior experience reporting weather on-air.
• Solid resume reel showing superior on-camera presentation.
• Knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area.
