About the Role
Provides administrative and labour-management support to the Production Manager and Supervisors, coordinating hiring, timesheets, staffing records, training, and daily KPI reporting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the interview and hiring process for frontline roles, including scheduling, screening, candidate communication, interview reporting, and offer paperwork.
- Support onboarding of new staff by coordinating training on tasks, health & safety, and other new-hire requirements.
- Support day-to-day coverage adjustments in partnership with Supervisors.
- Process timesheet approvals and flag exceptions to the appropriate Supervisor.
- Maintain attendance and vacation planning, and overtime sign-up sheets.
- Write and revise Health and Safety related SOPs and perform trainings.
- Collaborate with Supervisors on Health and Safety related topics.
- Ensure availability of PPEs.
- Maintain frontline staffing records, including certifications, training completion, attendance history, and disciplinary tracking.
- Act as a central point of contact for frontline staff on scheduling and administrative questions.
- Consolidate daily reports from Production Leads for KPI reporting.
- Track and enter inventory data where required, such as for spare parts maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience in an HR coordinator, scheduling, or labour administration role, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing a high volume of scheduling and administrative detail.
- Discretion in handling confidential staffing and personnel information.
- Comfortable consolidating and reporting on data from multiple sources.
- Demonstrates confidence and professionalism when communicating with employees at all levels.
