About the Role

CLEAR is building the secure identity company of the future, aiming to make experiences safer and easier. As a General Manager, you will lead and drive daily operations for your location, focusing on employee engagement, exceptional security and customer service, and overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of a team of Ambassadors and Managers utilizing CLEAR technology for airport security, customer service, and sales.
  • Act as the business owner for the airport, driving execution to achieve KPIs and metrics.
  • Hire, develop, and sustain a diverse team to meet CLEAR's objectives in security, service, and sales.
  • Drive employee engagement and foster accountability for exceptional security and customer service experiences, while promoting the CLEAR story.
  • Performance manage salaried and hourly team members, including conducting difficult conversations.
  • Build stakeholder relationships with TSA, airline, and airport partners, addressing needs and inquiries promptly.
  • Manage labor for optimal utility, overseeing payroll and scheduling.
  • Spend at least 80% of time on the airport floor in a customer-facing environment.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, customer-facing environment (e.g., retail, restaurants, hospitality, rental cars).
  • Self-motivated, positive, and passionate about fostering teamwork.
  • Prior experience managing both salaried and hourly employees is required.
  • High standards, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and commitment to training, mentoring, and motivating the team.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and influence others in a dynamic environment.
  • Indefatigable in achieving individual and team goals, with a desire for career growth and development.
  • Experience reviewing and reporting on KPIs regularly.
  • Ability to adhere to policies and procedures set by CLEAR, airport, state, and federal regulations.
  • Availability to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and/or evenings.
  • Must successfully complete a government background investigation.

  • $146,000-$186,000 / year
