About the Role
The Manager, Corporate Security is responsible for the design, deployment, administration, and lifecycle management of physical security technology across a global portfolio of facilities. This role owns the technical backbone of the security program, ensuring systems like access control and video surveillance are reliable, standardized, and aligned with corporate security design standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot enterprise access control platforms and video management systems across all managed sites.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for panel, reader, and controller issues, including field diagnostics and vendor coordination.
- Manage credential lifecycle, access group structures, and badge provisioning standards.
- Support network-dependent security infrastructure, coordinating with IT on connectivity changes.
- Lead security systems design and installation for new facility build-outs, relocations, and renovations.
- Review architectural and MEP drawings to identify security system requirements and potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop cost estimates and scopes of work for security systems, incorporating local regulatory requirements.
- Manage commissioning, testing, and handover documentation for new installations.
- Maintain and evolve the company’s Global Security Design Standards.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including as-built diagrams and configuration baselines.
- Manage vendor performance for systems integrators and monitoring providers.
- Collaborate with security and facility teams from Fanatics operating companies on shared standards and initiatives.
- Investigate system outages, unauthorized access events, and integration failures, producing root-cause analyses.
- Generate badge, occupancy, and system-health reporting for leadership.
- Track and report on system uptime, SLA compliance, and project delivery metrics.
- Support event-based and temporary security technology deployments for corporate events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise access control and video surveillance systems across large, multi-site corporate or enterprise portfolios.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major access control platform (Lenel OnGuard, Genea, Software House, S2, or similar) and one VMS platform (Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, or similar).
- Working knowledge of low-voltage security hardware: door hardware, REX devices, credential readers, panels, and controllers.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-site portfolios, including remote troubleshooting and vendor coordination.
- Strong written communication skills, with experience producing technical documentation for both practitioners and executive audiences.
- Experience using system health monitoring tools and ticketing/case management platforms.
- Working knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure concepts (networking fundamentals, VLANs/segmentation, server/virtualization environments, Active Directory/identity management).
- Domestic and international travel required (estimated 20–30%).
- Ability to work on ladders, in mechanical/telecom rooms, and other non-office environments.
- Availability to support after-hours system issues or event-based deployments as needed.
