About the Role

This is a contract outage position for an HVAC Technician in Seneca, SC. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and ability to remove, repair, and install various types of HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Rod out containment air handlers
• Remove pump hatch and lower VR motor to containment
• Repair/Replace VR motor
• Periodic inspections on all containment air handlers and fans
• Repack drive bearings
• Remove and replace test dampers
• Remove/Replace pump hatch

Requirements

• Two or more years' experience as a HVAC Technician in an Industrial environment.
• Satisfy all requirements to obtain Unescorted Access to a nuclear facility (e.g. Plant Access Training, Fitness for Duty Training and Radiation Worker Training – where applicable)
• Work overtime as required
• Work in hot, cold and confined space environments
