About the Role
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to promote high-quality products and assist partners in the sales and education of Axis Communications solutions within the designated territory.
Responsibilities
- Promote and educate integrators, distributors, consultants, and end-users on the benefits of IP Video and Axis cameras.
- Maintain relationships with prospects and current customers.
- Arrange and execute site visits for product demonstrations, presentations, lunch and learns, and speaking seminars.
- Collaborate with Axis Communication’s Application Development Partners.
- Recommend appropriate camera solutions and product comparisons.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, Axis Academies, Webinars, and other promotional sales activities.
- Prepare weekly sales reports detailing new and existing projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong selling skills, with the ability to listen and tailor presentations to meet customer needs.
- Responsible and independent drive.
- Ability to effectively motivate in a time-sensitive environment.
- Trustworthy and resourceful disposition.
- Public speaking skills.
- Multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent electronic trade training.
- 5+ years in a sales-driven position.
- Strong technical background.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Frequently required to lift 20-50 lbs, occasionally more.
- Expected travel time between 30%-40%.
