About the Role
This role provides interim leadership support for a client's Benefits Administration team, focusing on strategic guidance and healthcare benefits expertise for a team of five.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic guidance to the benefits team.
- Support open enrollment planning and execution.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate healthcare benefit programs and initiatives.
- Assist with healthcare-related projects and organizational priorities.
- Work closely with benefits consultants and vendors to assess options and make recommendations.
- Support team members through ongoing organizational and structural changes.
- Serve as a resource and escalation point for complex benefits-related issues.
- Collaborate with department leadership to ensure continuity and effective team operations.
Requirements
- Significant experience in employee benefits and healthcare plan administration.
- Prior leadership experience supervising or supporting benefits teams.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare benefits strategy, plan design, and vendor relationships.
- Experience supporting open enrollment initiatives.
- Ability to provide both strategic insight and hands-on leadership when needed.
- Strong communication, change management, and problem-solving skills.
