About the Role
As a Field Service Representative for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, you will provide outstanding customer service by installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and laboratory environments. This role is crucial for ensuring our clients receive exceptional support and technical assistance, contributing to our mission of improving patient health through advanced diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Independently serve customers by performing troubleshooting, repair, installation, validation, and preventive maintenance on designated instrumentation.
- Complete timely and accurate preventive maintenance, field modifications, instrument repairs, and service documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, including technical training on diagnostic products and systems.
- Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, enhancing customer relationships to become a perceived partner.
- Travel throughout the district’s territory and Canada to various client sites.
Requirements
- Technical diploma or higher in Biomedical Engineering Technology or Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-years of relatable experience (field service experience preferred).
- Experience using Hematology instrumentation.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record over the past three years.
- Must be able to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnight travel within the assigned service district and occasionally to other service districts in Canada.
- Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to travel to and from the United States.
- Hold a valid driver’s G license.
- Meet Beckman Coulter’s safe driver criteria in compliance with the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy and vendor credentialing requirements.
- Must be able to undergo annual background checks, immunizations, and required training.
