About the Role
Felix is seeking Intermediate and Senior Engineers to join their Engineering team. You will build the architecture and code for their digital healthcare ecosystem, working collaboratively with teammates to manage front-end and back-end systems. You will also partner with product and design teams to deliver innovative products that drive patient acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Build back-end and front-end systems, including architectural patterns, technical specifications, and database management.
- Write code and build software to support scaling for new products, markets, and healthcare categories.
- Improve platform reliability through rigorous testing, observability, and monitoring.
- Identify areas for system optimization and improvement.
- Manage communication flows between all stack levels to maximize efficiency.
- Establish sound engineering practices and frameworks.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer building scalable web applications.
- Familiarity with PHP/Laravel, JavaScript, and Vue.js.
- Drive to stay up-to-date with technology changes and advancements.
- Leadership skills in unblocking and leading development teams.
- Clear communication of technical concepts.
- Ability to collaborate with Product teams.
- Comfort with ambiguity.
- Ability to create clarity.
- Eagerness to problem-solve and move projects and the team forward.
