About the Role
Emmy Squared Pizza – NYC is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to drive the continued success of our New York City market.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations.
- Hire, train, mentor, and motivate your team to deliver top-notch service and uphold company standards.
- Supervise restaurant employees, manage shifts, and ensure compliance with all policies, processes, and health/safety standards.
- Create a welcoming environment, engage with guests, and address concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Oversee labor scheduling, cash handling, and work to achieve sales and financial goals.
- Lead marketing initiatives, coordinate catering contracts, and implement strategies to drive growth and enhance operations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
- Proficiency with computers and POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A love for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Serve Safe Certified Food Manager.
- Familiarity with labor management, menu planning, and health/safety regulations.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
- Standing/walking for extended periods, with frequent bending, squatting, and reaching overhead.
