About the Role

Xtract One is seeking an Object Tester to join our Engineering team. This role is crucial for improving and training our AI-based threat detection systems by replicating real-life scenarios in our lab. You will perform thousands of walkthroughs using various people and objects, including benign items and imitation weapons, to ensure our systems can effectively detect threats.

Responsibilities

• Perform repeated walkthroughs while carrying a range of test items, primarily through a series of pillars around 20’/6m in height, maintaining a consistent walking speed.
• Accurately operate from a checklist, ensuring every walkthrough is consistent with its requirements.
• Maintain and organize the objects used for testing.
• Contribute feedback to improve testing procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to walk continuously and consistently for long periods while carrying objects up to 8lbs/3.5kg.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely.
