About the Role

The Product Manager III, Partner Payouts role is part of the Partner Payments team, responsible for powering partner payments across brands, products, and geographies. This role defines a scalable, compliant, and cost-efficient roadmap to simplify partner business operations, improve economics, and enhance reliability for Expedia Group. You will own the end-to-end product strategy for Partner Payouts, collaborating with engineering, design, finance, operations, legal, compliance, and regional partner teams to deliver resilient payment experiences, modernize the platform, and unlock new business models.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Partner Payments product strategy and roadmap, delivering predictable, timely, low-friction partner payouts across markets.
  • Design and optimize Partner Payments onboarding and opt-in experiences for easy partner adoption and clear value demonstration.
  • Partner with Finance, Payments Operations, and platform teams to streamline cash operations, automate netting, and simplify payout flows.
  • Translate strategy into clear product opportunities and requirements, using competitive insights, customer pain points, and friction analysis.
  • Drive alignment and execution with engineering and design, ensuring partner payments goals are understood and supported by high-quality documentation.
  • Prioritize product initiatives using a data-informed approach, balancing short- and long-term outcomes, and communicating concepts, trade-offs, and decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a track record of delivering innovative, user-centric products.
  • 3+ years of experience in payments, fintech, financial operations, or marketplaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a complex problem space end-to-end, from strategy through execution in a backend or platform domain.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data and experimentation to inform priorities and measure impact.
  • Technical fluency and experience collaborating closely with engineering on APIs, data flows, and system constraints.
  • Experience working with B2B or partner-facing products and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Salary/Compensations

  • Austin: $137,500.00 - $192,500.00, potential to increase up to $220,000.00 based on performance.
  • Seattle: $137,500.00 - $192,500.00, potential to increase up to $220,000.00 based on performance.
