About the Role
Donalda Club is seeking a motivated Banquet Bartender to craft cocktails, recommend wines, and create unforgettable experiences for guests. This role is central to delivering exceptional dining and beverage experiences in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Mix, shake, stir, and pour a variety of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Keep the bar stocked and clean, including glassware, ice, garnishes, and snacks.
- Ensure the bar and dining areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Record sales accurately using the P.O.S system and assist with bar inventory.
- Handle guest requests and concerns professionally.
- Open and close the bar efficiently.
- Support the Food & Beverage team with special projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Completion of High School (Grade 12) & Post-Secondary in Hospitality preferred.
- 2–3 years of bartending experience.
- Must be 18+ to serve alcohol.
- Strong wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledge.
- Experience with P.O.S systems (JONAS an asset).
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional, well-groomed, friendly, and team-oriented.
- Private Club experience is an asset.
- Smart Serve Certificate (required).
- Ontario Bartending Certification (considered an asset).
- Candidates 18 years or older may be required to complete a criminal background check.
