About the Role

This individual contributor role is responsible for building analytical capability across Customer Marketing through robust measurement, experimentation, and actionable insight. The role will develop measurement frameworks, define KPIs, and establish scalable analytical approaches to enable effective campaign planning, optimization, and performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and embed the testing and measurement strategy.
  • Develop and operationalize Customer Marketing's A/B testing and control group strategy.
  • Establish a structured test-and-learn framework for continuous optimization.
  • Design robust measurement methodologies to ensure statistically meaningful and commercially relevant campaign results.
  • Develop and embed consistent KPIs, success measures, and measurement frameworks across Customer Marketing.
  • Partner with CRM to deliver measurable campaigns.
  • Define and document campaign measurement and data requirements.
  • Champion best practice in campaign measurement, experimentation, and performance evaluation.
  • Own and evolve the Customer Marketing Measurement Framework.
  • Partner with CRM and Strategy & Insights to develop scalable reporting and dashboards.
  • Develop standardized reporting, dashboards, and self-service tools for Marketing Managers.
  • Continuously improve reporting and measurement capabilities.
  • Analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, and commercial outcomes.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Surface key risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders with recommendations.
  • Act as the primary liaison across Marketing, CRM, Data, and Insights teams.
  • Support Marketing Managers in developing their analytical capability through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, evidence-based decision making, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on emerging measurement approaches, analytical techniques, and marketing technologies.
  • Ensure marketing measurement and reporting activities comply with regulatory requirements, data governance standards, and customer privacy obligations.
  • Support the business in meeting regulatory responsibilities, including Consumer Duty.
  • Identify and escalate data-related risks or issues.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and embedding marketing measurement, experimentation, or customer analytics capabilities.
  • Experience establishing best practices, improving analytics maturity, and embedding scalable measurement approaches.
  • Experience working with CRM teams and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of customer marketing, CRM, and customer lifecycle marketing principles.
  • Experience designing A/B tests, control groups, and measurement frameworks that deliver statistically meaningful and commercially actionable insight.
  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience developing and owning marketing performance reporting and measurement frameworks, including regular reporting to senior stakeholders, using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.

Skills

  • Marketing effectiveness, campaign measurement, attribution, incrementality, and ROI evaluation.
  • Statistical testing methodologies, including A/B testing, control groups, and significance testing.
  • Reporting and visualization approaches that enable effective decision making.
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, personalization, loyalty, and retention strategies.
  • Knowledge of customer data models, CRM platforms, and data governance principles.
  • An understanding of platforms such as Bloomreach, Snowflake, Google Analytics, and Content Square would be advantageous.
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen.
  • Ability to translate insight into strategies that drive customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience using Power BI, Excel, and marketing analytics tools to interrogate and present data.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Passion for experimentation, optimization, and using evidence to improve customer outcomes.

  • Hybrid working (minimum 50% in office per month)
