About the Role

Runners at our hotels work across departments to ensure guests and associates have what they need, delivering items and providing support to various hotel areas. They are critical to ensuring smooth hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items directly to guests in their rooms.
• Provide support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and the front office.
• Move about their space to get the job done.
• Ensure a safe work place.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Uphold quality standards.
• Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended time.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and up/down stairs or service ramps.
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
