About the Role

Foundation Risk Partners is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Specialist to join their Corporate Synergies team. This entry-level position is essential for developing a strong foundation in employee benefits brokerage and consulting, supporting sales, account management, and underwriting with marketing, sales, and service activities for multiple client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date client files and internal systems.
• Support pre-renewal, renewal, and post-renewal activities, including wellness.
• Coordinate data gathering for reporting efforts.
• Complete training and professional development.
• Assist the Account Management and Underwriting Team with client lifecycle activities.
• Gather necessary data to fulfill obligations, including outreach to carriers and clients.
• Support the team with the preparation, analysis, and delivery of materials.
• Complete implementation tasks for client-related projects.
• Coordinate activities and complete regulatory tasks.
• Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Track receipt of deliverables and update the Annual Action Plan.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Prepare and review employee education and communication materials.
• Assist in coordinating Open Enrollment activities, including conducting meetings.
• Maintain internal systems and client files.
• Resolve client service or claim issues and administrative concerns.
• Interact with carriers and vendors on behalf of the client and team.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, well organized and responsive.
• Strong desire and willingness to learn all aspects of CSG's suite of services and available solutions.
• Strong desire and willingness to learn insurance and healthcare related products.
• Strong desire and willingness to learn regulatory and compliance related matters.
• Very comfortable with numbers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Publisher.
• Ability to quickly learn new skills.
• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to establish relationships.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate composure/resilience under pressure.
• Comfortable switching between clients and tasks to meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of insurance and healthcare.
