About the Role

Join our team to help shape the foundation for a modern and future-proof Berlin administration and drive digitalization forward.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the strategic further development of our service-oriented ITSM solutions.
  • You will analyze requirements, structure them, and translate them into understandable process and system landscapes.
  • You will identify optimization potential in processes and IT systems and manage implementation from idea to go-live.
  • You will actively drive the digitalization and automation of internal processes and design sustainable solutions, e.g., through the integration of external service partners and scalable service, self-service, and portal structures.
  • You will monitor and manage technical requirements and coordinate with stakeholders, departments, and development units.
  • You will ensure the sustainable organizational anchoring of new processes and solution structures of the ITSM solution within ITDZ Berlin.

Requirements

  • Master's or university degree or equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the IT Service Management Framework ITIL (certificate), including the application of best practices for optimizing IT processes (BPMN 2.0).
  • Several years of experience in the design, further development, and organizational implementation of complex ITSM or service solutions in the public sector.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in requirements management and in the technical management of complex solution requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of product ownership, service development, or cross-organizational technical transformation projects.
  • Advanced knowledge in planning and managing budgets, including budget control.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in managing complex ITSM system projects.
  • German language skills at C1 level (GER).
  • Willingness to undergo the extended security check (SÜ 2) according to § 11 of the Berlin Security Clearance Act (BSÜG).
