Responsibilities

  • Clean allocated areas of the school following Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Safely use chemicals, cleaning materials, and PPE as instructed.
  • Operate cleaning machinery on soft and hard surfaces according to Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards for all cleaning equipment and closets.
  • Report any hazards, defects, or equipment breakdowns immediately to the Operations Manager.
  • Perform tasks including vacuuming, spot cleaning, wiping furniture, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, mopping floors, and replenishing supplies.
  • Check and secure windows, and switch off lights after work.
  • Monitor and clean lunch and cleanup tables.
  • Perform light maintenance such as moving furniture and boxes.

Requirements

  • Adherence to Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Ability to use cleaning machinery.
  • Ability to report hazards and defects.
  • Ability to perform various cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to perform light maintenance work.
