About the Role
AvalonBay Communities is searching for a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to manage the daily operations of the leasing team at one of our apartment communities and ensure residents experience luxury living. This role is crucial in helping residents find the best place to call home through customized tours and follow-through on leads.
Responsibilities
- Provide incredible customer service and create a sense of community.
- Go the extra mile to create a spectacular experience for new residents.
- Build relationships with prospective residents.
- Drive leasing performance through personalized connections and recommendations.
- Create excitement through creative campaigns, continuous outreach, and social media.
- Follow through with tailored updates for prospective residents.
- Help paint a picture of what it's like to call the community home.
- Assist residents and colleagues in Creating a Better Way to Live.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
