About the Role
This role is focused on originating, structuring and executing interest rate hedging solutions for Financial Sponsors / Portfolio companies and our Global Credit Trading business, with a sector focus on Infrastructure & Energy. The role involves developing hedging relationships, delivering Deutsche Bank solutions, and collaborating with internal partners in banking and capital markets divisions. A technical background is strongly suggested for structuring and executing financial derivatives.
Responsibilities
- Help the team build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and providing bespoke hedging solutions based on their objectives.
- Partner with internal partners across the Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, Rates Trading and Global Credit Trading.
- Learn how to assess the credit worthiness of clients to seek out opportunities.
- Work with XVA desks to price derivatives competitively.
- Learn to resolve internal conflicts across Credit Approval, Onboarding, and pricing / execution.
Requirements
- Some relevant experience in fixed income trading and sales, or a related field.
- Familiarity with global financial markets and derivatives.
- Strong quantitative and technical ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that allow for comfort in client-facing situations.
- Problem solving skills.
- Highly motivated, self-starter attitude.
- Resourcefulness and collegiality to be solutions oriented across a range of internal partners and deal types.
