About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute CRP/IRB submissions for initial approvals, continuing reviews, amendments, protocol deviations, and adverse events, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Oversee and conduct screening and informed consent processes for research studies, including phone and face-to-face patient interactions.
  • Administer surveys (phone/email/in-person) and coordinate research-related visits and follow-ups with multidisciplinary teams, potentially including off-site visits.
  • Ensure subject/investigator compliance with research procedures and escalate issues as needed.
  • Manage data collection for research studies, performing routine audit and quality checks for data accuracy and completeness.
  • Compile final datasets for analysis and assist in the interpretation and summarization of results.
  • Provide study progress updates to supervisors and Principal Investigators.
  • Participate in the preparation of manuscripts for publication and abstracts/presentations for conferences.
  • Assist with literature searches as necessary.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, physicians, medical, and administrative personnel.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient use of computers and software.
