Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional phone etiquette by using standard greetings, speaking clearly, remaining calm, minimizing hold times and transfers, seeking permission before placing patients on hold, and providing confident, accurate responses.
- Adapt to changing work assignments and provide cross-coverage as needed.
- Follow established workflows, ensuring accurate entry of patient information into EMR systems.
- Document all patient and staff interactions in Salesforce (SF) in chronological order, using the partner notes field when applicable.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and external parties to fulfill patient requests.
- Use correct Salesforce templates for appointment confirmations and complete tasks thoroughly to minimize errors.
- Work assigned queues, contributing a fair share to the team’s case load to meet individual and departmental goals.
- Report technical issues or patient-related concerns to leadership immediately.
- Assist colleagues when assigned work is complete and proactively prepare for upcoming assignments.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years healthcare setting, or the equivalent field, or related program.
- Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, or other potentially infectious materials and Category 1 tasks are not a condition of employment.

- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize in the ever changing environment of healthcare.

- Ability to work with a variety of software programs specific to healthcare.
- Strong computer skills required.
