About the Role
Destination Pet is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with a focus on ultrasound to join North Shore Animal Hospital. This role encourages technicians to work at the top of their license, leading diagnostic imaging services with state-of-the-art ultrasonography equipment. Responsibilities
- Lead in-house ultrasonography and imaging workflow.
- Perform high-quality abdominal and thoracic ultrasound scans.
- Perform high-quality digital radiography.
- Perform in-house lab analysis.
- Serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset.
- Utilize modern equipment including digital DR, dental radiography, in-house lab, infusion pumps, and multi-parameter monitors.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid New York Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) state license.
- Technicians are considered clinical drivers of patient care.
- Willingness to grow skills in sonography.
