About the Role
Oversee the Transfer Agency client service team, manage client relationships, and act as a point of escalation for technical issues. Ensure policies and procedures are followed, best practices are applied, and drive efficiencies and productivity. Support business growth through new client onboarding and foster a continuous learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of the Transfer Agency team, managing key priorities, planning teamwork, and managing team resources including recruitment.
- Manage the team effectively, including HR policies, performance, and career development.
- Build and maintain client relationships through regular meetings and forums, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction.
- Act as the point of contact for client escalations.
- Provide final sign off on internal and client reporting, ensuring accurate fund activity recording.
- Take full ownership of daily, cash, and trade reconciliations.
- Proactively identify gaps in internal key controls and collaborate to close them.
- Promote a risk-aware culture within the team to drive a zero-error policy.
- Participate in department-wide training efforts, drafting and delivering training courses.
- Facilitate 'on the job' training for Senior Associates.
Requirements
- Good working knowledge (2+ years) of AML and relevant regulations.
- Knowledge of Transfer Agency policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of ISS (AIS’s Enterprise-wide Investor Services System).
- 4+ years of Fund Administration experience.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Experience managing client relationships.
- Hedge fund or Transfer Agency experience.
- Knowledge of Private Equity (P/E) funds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
