About the Role
Join a nationally recognized financial institution and have a direct impact on the lives of your customers! Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) is looking to hire a Mortgage Loan Originator to join our Retail Lending Team. This position will work with BSNB's customers to provide outstanding customer service in one of the most significant purchases of their lives.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with referral network including realtors, builders, and BSNB colleagues to follow-up on customer referrals for the purchase of a home or home equity loan.
- Work with new and existing customers regarding their loan applications.
- Take loan applications.
- Recommend appropriate lending products.
- Enhance the customer experience and maximize the customer relationship through attention to detail and follow-through.
Requirements
- Experience with application origination of mortgage, home equity, or consumer loans.
- Established referral network recommended for best success.
