About the Role

Join Softengine Holding GmbH as a Working Student in People, directly supporting the Head of People in building and scaling our new People function from the ground up. Take on real responsibility from day one and help shape our HR processes in a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup and scaling of our People function from scratch, working alongside the Head of People.
• Actively participate in the implementation of our new HR management system, from data preparation to rollout.
• Assist in harmonizing and structuring personnel data from various companies and locations.
• Contribute to the development of common People principles, processes, and guidelines for the growing group.
• Handle daily People administration, including contract management and digital personnel files.
• Provide preparatory support for payroll processing.
• Assist with recruiting and applicant management, from job postings to candidate communication.
• Contribute own ideas to People projects and actively shape initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree, ideally a Master's, or an advanced Bachelor's, related to HR, business, psychology, or similar fields.
• Previous practical experience in HR/People, e.g., through an internship, is advantageous.
• Experience with HR tools (e.g., Personio) is ideal but not required.
• A true generalist mindset, willing to assist wherever needed.
• Structured, discreet, and meticulous approach, especially when handling sensitive personal data.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• High IT affinity and enthusiasm for actively building a new HR system.
• Proactive and driven to make a difference in a dynamically growing environment.
• Fluent in German; English skills are a plus.
• Availability of at least 15-20 hours per week.
