About the Role
Flow Traders is seeking an experienced Quantitative Researcher specializing in high-frequency research to join our New York office. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading proprietary trading firm with a strong quantitative and entrepreneurial culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic expansion into new opportunities by leveraging Flow Traders’ cutting-edge research and quantitative trading platform.
- Identify competitive advantages and build quantitative strategies to convert them into actionable opportunities.
- Lead a team of researchers to develop pricing and execution models.
- Oversee the deployment of pricing and execution models in profitable end-to-end high-frequency quantitative trading strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systematic trading.
- Proven track record of profitable high-frequency trading strategies in US cash equities and/or futures markets.
- Nuanced understanding of financial markets and their microstructure.
- Demonstrated success translating modern quantitative methods into profitable trading strategies.
- Experience with large-scale machine learning operations frameworks and high-performance compute.
- Excellent communication skills and experience managing stakeholders across trading and technology.
- Strategic vision for the role of machine learning and AI in the future of algorithmic trading.
