Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team in Austin, TX. This role involves patient interaction and specimen collection.
Responsibilities
- Perform specimen collection on patients of all ages.
- Process specimens for testing.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
