About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on outbound targets within core infrastructure accounts and leading a US BDR team. You will set the standard by doing the work yourself and coaching your team, serving as the first line of pipeline generation for LiveEO in North America. Every conversation contributes to reducing wildfire risk, preventing outages, and mitigating pipeline incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a small team of ambitious BDRs to exceed pipeline generation targets.
  • Create an empowering environment that fosters individual growth, accountability, and team success.
  • Build and execute development plans through regular 1:1s, call reviews, live shadowing, feedback sessions, and skill-building.
  • Track performance against KPIs, providing guidance and recognition to improve and celebrate individual and team success.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ramp of new BDRs as the US team scales.
  • Carry an individual pipeline-generation quota, prospecting into named strategic accounts across electric utilities and midstream pipeline operators.
  • Run multichannel outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email, LinkedIn, events, and industry conferences.
  • Personally test and prove new plays, sequences, messaging, and channels before rolling them out to the team.
  • Represent LiveEO at industry conferences and trade shows, planning and organizing presence, and generating meetings on-site.
  • Design and implement pipeline generation strategies for the North American market.
  • Translate market trends, ICP insights, and campaign performance into sharper outreach, including regulatory and event-driven triggers.
  • Own quarterly planning and reporting for regional BDR pipeline goals.
  • Own the BDR team's sales engagement and CRM tools and workflows (e.g. HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lemlist).
  • Assess and improve tool usage, workflows, and integrations to enhance team productivity.
  • Collaborate with RevOps and IT to evaluate, implement, or sunset tools in alignment with GTM needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development in enterprise B2B, including at least 1 year in a team lead, senior BDR, or player-coach capacity.
  • Prior hands-on BDR/SDR experience selling into the utility or critical-infrastructure space: electric utilities, oil & gas / midstream pipeline operators, rail, or comparable asset-heavy infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated, quantifiable success in generating pipeline as an IC and willingness to continue doing so while scaling a team.
  • Skilled at motivating and coaching teams, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Comfort with North America field travel to industry conferences (~25%), and internationally (2x year).
