About the Role
This is a net new role for Co-op or Intern Students to join the International Tax team for a 4-month opportunity starting in January 2027. Responsibilities include applying technical knowledge to assignments, completing personal tax returns, contributing to compliance projects, developing project management skills, and building client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Apply relevant technical knowledge acquired through tax courses to assignments under the direction of a manager or senior tax team member.
- Complete personal tax returns, contribute to compliance projects, and work on other assigned tax tasks following standardized BDO procedures.
- Develop project management skills by providing senior tax team members with timelines and status updates, monitoring individual time spent on each file, and reporting concerns that might impact these items.
- Build client relationships through communication, client contact, and responding to client requests.
