About the Role

Civic is seeking a talented and collaborative Structural Design Engineer to join their team. This role involves working closely with high-profile clients, influencing with technical expertise, and contributing to sustainable design practices to create inspirational designs that protect our climate and enhance the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Structural engineering design
• Preparing, presenting, and checking drawings and calculations
• Briefing Technicians and Graduates
• Attending site and project team meetings
• Occasional visits to construction sites for survey/inspection
• Internal reviews/critiques
• Contributing to writing bids and fees proposals
• On project training
• Compliance with the duties of Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015
• Compliance with the Practice QMS
