About the Role

As the founding Head of Enterprise Operations for the UK market, your ultimate goal will be to make sunday's Enterprise portfolio successful, scalable and commercially valuable. You'll own the operational journey of Enterprise clients from pilot through rollout and ongoing optimisation. You'll create the operating model, governance and cross-functional discipline needed to manage complex Enterprise groups with clarity and consistency. This role is a rare opportunity to shape how sunday operates with its most strategic customers, bringing together operational leadership, client execution, commercial thinking and cross-functional coordination to create more value for Enterprise merchants and build lasting partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Enterprise rollouts, owning operational delivery from pilot through full rollout and optimisation.
  • Build clear rollout plans, milestones, governance, and escalation paths.
  • Maintain visibility on progress, risks, blockers, owners, and next steps.
  • Identify issues early, drive resolution, and create playbooks for repeatable, efficient deployments.
  • Drive adoption and performance by creating adoption plans and translating performance data into actions.
  • Improve the full adoption journey and remove operational, product, and behavioural barriers.
  • Share benchmarks and best practices from high-performing locations.
  • Protect retention and account health by ensuring strong operational support and execution.
  • Define and monitor account health indicators.
  • Create clear intervention plans for at-risk accounts.
  • Partner with Account Management on executive engagement, retention, and client relationships.
  • Drive expansion opportunities within existing Enterprise groups.
  • Build operational playbooks for various products.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to turn successful deployments into commercial expansion.
  • Support pilots and build the operational and commercial case for wider rollout.
  • Build governance and operational excellence by creating a transparent view of Enterprise account health.
  • Standardise QBRs, account planning, executive reporting, and operating cadences.
  • Ensure actions have clear owners, deadlines, and escalation paths.
  • Turn successful approaches into scalable processes.
  • Lead cross-functional execution and the team, acting as the operational point of coordination.
  • Align Account Management, Onboarding, Sales, Product, Tech, Support, and Operations around shared priorities.
  • Clarify ownership across the client lifecycle and surface recurring issues.
  • Represent Enterprise client needs internally while balancing them with sunday’s priorities.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Managers and Associates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Enterprise Operations, client delivery or a similar role, including experience managing people.
  • Experience leading complex Enterprise relationships and coordinating multi-stakeholder deployments from pilot through rollout.
  • Strong understanding of how operational execution, adoption, retention and commercial expansion connect.
  • Experience working in hospitality, restaurants, payments, SaaS or another operationally complex, customer-led environment.
  • Proven ability to influence senior external stakeholders, demonstrate value and create lasting client partnerships.
  • Strong data literacy and a highly detail-oriented approach to performance management, governance and decision-making.
  • Degree educated and/or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the organisation and strategic thinking needed to turn ambiguity into action.
  • Experience building an Enterprise operating model, governance framework or portfolio management cadence from the ground up (nice-to-have).
  • Experience in a high-growth technology company where processes are still being built and improved (nice-to-have).
