About the Role
We are seeking a Social Work Manager for our residential project for substituted individuals in Mitte. This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills and qualify for further management positions within a large addiction support provider. The position is a parental leave replacement, fixed-term, with 31.2 hours per week, but we are interested in a long-term collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assume professional leadership of the facility and responsible design of the daily work routine.
- Further develop and ensure professional standards and actively participate in quality assurance processes.
- Further develop our support services for substituted individuals and people with substance control problems.
- Contribute to conceptual development.
- Personnel management and development.
- Actively participate in relevant committees and networks for professional networking and representation of interests.
- Act as a liaison for public relations and support the external presentation of the facility.
- Active participation in the management team of vista gGmbH.
- Provide psychosocial support to substituted individuals.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Social Work or comparable qualification.
- Professional expertise and willingness to manage the facility.
- Interest in regular professional exchange and continuous professional development.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Intercultural consulting competence.
- Confident demeanor towards external partners.
- Sound professional experience in the social sector.
