About the Role
In this central role, you will be at the heart of FlixTrain's strategic financing activities, supporting both equity investment and debt financing transactions from initiation to completion. You will work closely with the Head of Treasury and external investors, banks, and financial advisors, making this a high-visibility position with direct impact on the company's capital structure and growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage equity and debt financing processes from initiation to closing, including due diligence management and confidential data room maintenance.
- Develop and maintain complex scenario models with integrated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections for strategic and transactional purposes.
- Interpret term sheets and financing structures, translating complex financial data into understandable presentations and investment materials for senior management.
- Serve as a central point of contact for investors, banks, and financial advisors, creating strategic company profiles to support capital market narratives.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration with legal, accounting, and business teams, ensuring compliance with transaction timelines and data quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven practical experience in managing equity and debt financing processes, including due diligence management and confidential data room administration.
- Ability to independently develop and maintain complex, integrated financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and scenario analyses.
- Interpret term sheets, financing structures, and deal scenarios, presenting results clearly and convincingly to senior management.
- Experience collaborating with external partners such as investors, banks, and financial advisors, as well as cross-departmental internal coordination with legal, accounting, and business teams.
- Create strategic company profiles and investor-oriented materials that credibly support a coherent capital market strategy.
- Very good written and spoken German and English language skills.
