About the Role
As a working student in Data Management, Databases & Automation (SQL/VBA) at BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH, you will support the digitalization and quality assurance team in analyzing, processing, and ensuring data quality. You will also contribute to the development and automation of existing processes using modern enterprise applications, databases, and Microsoft Office technologies.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop SQL queries and data analyses.
- Support the creation of reports and evaluations from CRM and database systems.
- Analyze, clean, and ensure the quality of data sets.
- Assist with mass data changes and data migrations.
- Develop and maintain small automation solutions with Excel-VBA and Word-VBA.
- Perform and document interface and function tests.
- Analyze data errors and support their resolution.
- Create and maintain documentation and work instructions.
- Participate in digitalization and automation projects.
Requirements
- Enrolled student in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable degree program.
- Good knowledge of Oracle SQL.
- Good knowledge of data structures and relational databases.
- Knowledge of VBA programming (Excel-VBA and/or Word-VBA).
- Analytical thinking and structured way of working.
- High level of diligence and quality awareness.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
