About the Role

Internship opportunity within the Content Team at WE DO, a communication agency, focusing on developing video and social media formats. This role is ideal for students or trainees seeking practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement video and social media formats from concept to publication.
• Research topics, develop creative approaches, and adapt content for various social media channels.
• Participate in the production of short videos, Reels, and Stories, including filming, editing, sound design, and subtitling.
• Create text drafts for social media, including hooks, captions, and calls-to-action.
• Monitor trends and platforms, assist with editorial and community management, and design graphical content.
• Support research, evaluation of communication measures, source and image rights verification, presentations, and production organization.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree or relevant training in communication, media, journalism, film, or design.
• Strong interest in video, social media, and socially relevant topics.
• Initial experience in video production and editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve).
• Knowledge of subtitling tools, basic motion design, or image editing (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) is advantageous.
• Good sense for visual language, dramaturgy, timing, and audience-appropriate communication.
• Familiarity with current social media trends and willingness to explore new formats and platforms.
• Confident and enthusiastic writing skills, with careful handling of facts and sources.
• Structured, independent, and reliable work approach with the ability to maintain an overview.
• Enjoyment of teamwork.
• Very good German language skills (written and spoken).
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Willingness to occasionally appear on camera.
• Interest in or sensitivity towards Jewish life, antisemitism, and remembrance culture (prior knowledge is a plus, but not required).
