About the Role
We are seeking an experienced User Experience Designer to join our Embedded Finance design team. This role offers a unique opportunity to define and enhance customer engagement journeys and support business customers with the right products, tools, and services. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with a full design team, take ownership of their design output, and confidently present work, adapting designs based on feedback and user research.
Responsibilities
- Skilfully craft the end-to-end user experience, bringing together a cohesive journey step by step.
- Creatively use components from a central design system to balance content and UI elements.
- Bring designs to life using prototyping software (e.g., Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure, Adobe XD).
- Balance business requirements with user needs by gathering user research and rationale.
- Diplomatically push back when necessary to act on what's right for the customer.
- Be adaptable to technical constraints of different platforms while guiding the creation of the best possible end-user experience.
- Advocate for customer inclusion by designing accessible experiences for users of diverse ages, backgrounds, and technical abilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in User Experience design/Interaction Design.
- Strong experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer, or from a Visual Design background.
- Full ownership of the Interaction Design project.
- Excellent prototyping and layout skills that can be clearly articulated.
- Comfortable using existing design systems and proactively recommending improvements.
- Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative research to inform the interaction design process.
- Familiarity working in a complex landscape, ideally with experience in financial services.
- Collaborative attitude to work closely and quickly with a multi-disciplinary team.
