About the Role
This role is critical in integrating generative AI into Nasdaq’s regulatory reporting platform, AxiomSL. You will focus on enhancing how financial institutions utilize the platform and improving its development and maintenance. The position offers direct business exposure and the chance to influence user interaction with financial regulatory reporting through AI.
Responsibilities
- Explore, prototype, and deploy GenAI-enabled tools to improve the solution development lifecycle, including maintenance and iteration.
- Translate business requirements into actionable specifications for development teams, using prototyping and algorithmic thinking.
- Conduct hands-on testing of new features, identify system behavior patterns, and diagnose issues to enhance solution quality.
- Support the automation and scaling of quality assurance processes for existing functionality.
- Document features, communicate known issues, and take ownership of solutions with a self-starter mindset and attention to detail.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a relevant role within the financial sector or technology industry.
- Proficiency in Python and ability to write/interpret complex SQL queries.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including problem decomposition, pattern identification, algorithm formulation, and assumption challenging.
- High level of ownership, self-starter mindset, and attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
