About the Role
To provide dedicated, accurate, and efficient sales support services for agreed Financial Planning Consultants.
Responsibilities
- Provide an efficient new business processing service for sales consultants, completing trades/fund switches, and liaising with product providers to ensure new business is set up correctly.
- Provide administration support for valuations, transfer of servicing, and client reviews to enable sales consultants to conduct efficient client meetings.
- Act as an effective link between the client and the consultant, ensuring both are kept up-to-date with all matters relating to their financial affairs.
- Ensure all client information is stored on the relevant system, updated accurately and timely, and verify that all compliance requirements are met.
- Prepare invoices for work completed for clients.
- Issue original policy documents to clients where appropriate and check that copy documents/contract notes are issued within the agreed turnaround timescale, ensuring accuracy and client requirement reflection.
- Provide post-meeting administration support to consultants, ensuring all work is completed within agreed timescales.
- Report any complaints (formal or informal), breaches, or losses to the Compliance Manager at the earliest possible opportunity.
- Undertake reasonable additional duties as requested by your Line Manager.
Requirements
- Experience providing administrative support to advisers within a wealth management organisation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Demonstrable pensions and investment product knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize and plan own workload, effectively manage own time, and achieve strict timescales.
