About the Role

Urgent opportunity for a Principal UX Consultant on a contract basis, initially for 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage design stakeholders and coach clients or teams in Design Thinking, Lean UX, Lean principles, and Human Centred Design.
• Design and facilitate workshops and design sprints.
• Conduct user research and user testing.
• Consult with product owners on backlog prioritization.
• Create prototypes at various fidelity levels, from paper to high-fidelity click-throughs.
• Audit existing user experiences.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Human Centred Design and Design Thinking.
• Experience working closely with engineers, QA, and delivery disciplines.
• Experience presenting design concepts and running workshops with clients.
• Experience leading UX activities on a project.
• Experience designing mobile-first responsive sites and mobile native apps.
• Experience with user testing at various fidelity levels, from guerrilla to lab testing.
• Ability to work closely with a team and the client as a sole UX Designer.
