About the Role
Neural Frames is seeking a first Product Engineer focused on growth to own marketing pages and conversion surfaces, including free tools, landing pages, signup, onboarding, paywalls, and pricing. This role involves shipping production code daily, analyzing results, and driving the company's growth from $5M to $100M in annualized revenue. The position is ideal for a builder who thinks like a marketer and is comfortable with both frontend and backend development.
Responsibilities
- Own marketing pages: build, maintain, and improve landing pages and site experiences for user acquisition.
- Optimize marketing pages for speed, conversion rates, and visibility in search engines and AI assistants.
- Transform free tools into product entry points, ensuring seamless user value and progression.
- Run conversion experiments across the entire funnel, including landing pages, CTAs, signup, onboarding, paywalls, packaging, and pricing.
- Contribute to the core product by developing product-native growth loops such as shareable creations, templates, embeds, referrals, and public pages.
- Execute programmatic SEO experiments while maintaining page quality and avoiding index bloat.
- Develop and run lifecycle experiments focused on activation, project recovery, paywall conversion, feature discovery, and re-engagement.
- Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of conversion tracking.
- Oversee growth measurement and data quality using PostHog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and backend payment data.
- Build reliable funnels and dashboards, investigate data anomalies, and translate insights into actionable decisions.
Requirements
- Ability to independently ship production experiences using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Attention to detail for optimizing page speed, layout, copy, and overall polish.
- Comfort with backend development, including Python, APIs, SQL, event data, and attribution logic.
- A mindset that balances engineering with marketing principles, focusing on signups and revenue.
- Understanding of the complete user funnel, from acquisition to retention and payment.
- Proficiency in experimentation, including hypothesis definition, metric selection, guardrails, and decision thresholds.
- Strong product and editorial judgment to create valuable user experiences.
- Effective use of AI tools as an extension of workflow, maintaining high standards for accuracy and quality.
- High agency: ability to identify bottlenecks, gather data, implement solutions, and communicate results proactively.
- Must be based in Berlin and available to work in the office at least four days per week.
