About the Role

The Civil Engineering Intern will be mentored by and collaborate with top Engineering associates on the Airfields team. The selected candidate will work on a variety of conventional and design-build projects, combining innovative Texas roadway and/or Aviation design with technical standards to exceed client expectations and provide cost-effective solutions. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and a better understanding of the Infrastructure Engineering Industry.

Responsibilities

Perform routine calculations requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
Prepare and revise plan documents details
Collect and prepare data for evaluation
Perform engineering tasks using computer-assisted design software and equipment
Provide support to engineering and project management associates

Requirements

Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university
Anticipated Graduate Date between December 2026 and May 2027
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
Strong work ethic aligning with the company’s mission and core values
2.5 GPA or above
Prior internship or related experience
AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience
Specific interest in Airfield Design
